It's weird but as I sit down to write this post I've noticed that all my pictures and movies are of Dalton. Interesting.
Well, I guess we have been talking about Easton a lot lately with his birthday and party and doctor visit and all. So it's only fair that we have some more D footage, if you will.
I have lots I still haven't talked about. From the weekend even. For instance, the whole family went to church on Sunday morning! Can you believe it??? We ended up at the very first church we ever tried out. Back then it wasn't perfect and we kept searching, but we never found anything better so we've committed to a month at this place. We took D to the 2 year old room. He walked right in and never looked back. Then we took E to where the kids all begin a big group worship session with puppets and music and we dropped him off there with his teacher and her son, an older kid named Lucas or something. Easton was excited about the older boy and when we left he was trying to be so brave and I saw him dancing a bit to the music. Sweet boy. Trying so hard.
During the service I got called out twice for Dalton but when I'd arrive at his room he was fine. I'd keep him from seeing me and just went back (having talked to his teacher first). When church was over we went to get D and he burst into tears, so relieved to see us. Poor guy. Easton was doing okay but the teacher said he'd had his moments as well but that he was easily distracted. Whew. No idea how next week'll go.
After church both D and I had naps. And D didn't want to wake up:
I ran out to Target later for food and such and apparently Dalton dressed up in Easton's new uniform:
Doesn't he look like he's just on the sidelines, watching a play, waiting for coach to send him in?
Monday was our appointment in the afternoon with the morning spent being lazy at home. Tuesday was school for E in the morning. When I picked him up I found this:
It means he cut it all himself.
Tuesday afternoon was Wal-Mart and playing. We made a new rule that before Easton gets to take one of his new presents out of the package, first he has to write his name in one of his super-cool "Thank You" notes from Gramoo:
And today being Wednesday means Carson arrived bright and early. He's not being as sleepy as he was last time he was here. But when he woke up this morning only Dalton was awake with me. Easton slept till 8:00!! So Dalton took it upon himself to drop toys into the Pack & Play for Carson:
Carson was okay. I believe the computer was pulled onto his head when he grabbed the mouse. Not that D dropped it on his head.
Then he sang him a lullaby. I thought this was the sweetest because he did it all on his own and it means he's imitating his Bubba's singing. This is D's rendition of "Rock a Bye, Baby", I believe:
Then he moved onto playing some robot:
Right now Dalton and Carson are both napping and Easton is doing his quiet time. Somehow with three small kids in the house I still have some quiet time to myself to blog. Amazing.
Anyway, things are good on our end. And before I go here is one last video for you from the other day. It's Diddles imitating the Wii Fit talking:
That oughta do it, folks.

The first video made me swoon. The second video made me giggle. I totally adore that DiddleBug.
(And perfect timing with this post. I was actually wishing for more Dalton stories/pics just yesterday!)
Diddles is such a cutie!
Glad you guys have found a sort of, maybe church!
