2 Years, 1 Month, 14 Days

That is exactly how old Dalton is today. And exactly how old Easton was the day Dalton was born. D seems much younger than E did at this age, even though we think he's more verbal.

I find it interesting that the age difference between my sister Jessica and I is almost the exact same: 2 years 1 month and 12 days. Pretty close. If you count the actual number of days it's 774 versus 775. I always thought she and I had a great age difference and always wanted that for my own kids, especially since they are the same gender.

I must admit I worry a little about the 4.5 and 2.5 years there will be between the new baby and it's big brothers. At least it will only be 2 years in school. I'm glad about that.

It will be fine. Let me tell you, Aliya and Joshie are 5 years and 1 month apart. They interact so well, she is such a big help and a great big sister. E will be as well, a great big brother that is. :)

Funny you posted this, I just realized that BubTar was 4 when I started the blog and K is 4 now. They are so different, though. He was a big kid then, and she is still young in so many ways.

My kids are 2 years and 10 months apart and I love it and always have.

I agree! I find Gillian much "younger" than Mia this time then when Gillian was born. Mia was 2 years and 2 months while G is just shy of 2 years but what a difference a couple months seems to make! Matthew is closer to G than to Mia. Mia bugs him too much. lol

And you will probably find that your 3rd baby will remain a 'baby' much longer than Dalton. It just kinda seems to work out that way. Especially since she/he will be your last.

I firmly believe that age difference isn't as big of a factor in the closeness of siblings as is their personalities and the way they are raised.

I've known siblings very close in age that couldn't stand one another...as children or adults. And then there's me and my bro...best buds with nearly 8 years between us. I also know plenty of siblings where the opposite is true. I've just come t believe that age difference really doesn't have much to do with it at all.

I'm sure all 3 of your kiddos will be close!

Isn't that interesting? Crazy! You couldn't have done that on purpose! I love it. And if we were 800 days apart, I would love you just as much.
