I think Dalton is doing better today. He still feels a tad warm to me but the thermometer in his armpit read normal. So, maybe a low grade fever, if I'm supposed to be adding a degree.
He only puked the one time in the car yesterday. And in the night he still has kind of a barky sounding dry cough. Easton coughed so much last night that he nearly threw up at bedtime. Then right after we'd tucked him in he called that he had thrown up. However, Jason (who was somewhat within earshot) didn't hear any coughing so we think Easton might've made himself puke (which isn't hard for him to do). He was all, "I'm sick so I can't go to school tomorrow". Luckily he was just fine through the night and this morning (as we knew he would be) and he was just peachy when it came time to get ready for and go to school.
Dalton and I came home after dropping E off and waited for the appraisal guy. We're looking at refinancing now that we've got the basement finished. After he left, D and I ran to the post office yet again to mail off another Paper Back Swap book (grrr!). Diddles is dressed in his new guitar shirt today. We went to get Easton one from Gymboree yesterday and happened to find a different one for Dalton. It's a 2T (which he wears in most brands) but the shirt is huge on him. I'm sorta glad because that means he'll have no trouble wearing it next fall and winter too! And it was on clearance which is the only way we ever shop at Gymboree. Here he is showing it off:
Isn't he just turning into such a big kid??? I can't completely grasp that he'll be a big brother before long!
After our errand it was time to pick up Bubba from school. His school is attached to a church and there was a funeral today at the church so all the parents had nowhere to park! It was insane. Then the teachers thought they'd make things easier by bringing all the kids out front to wait for the parents. Chaotic! But we located Easton and even managed to pick up his art for the day too:
He tells me he is the blue figure and that he's all blue because he has the "bluesy blues". :( He says the other things are yucky spots, yucky snakes, and yucky lines. I have no idea what's up with his little mood that he painted his sad self surrounded by yuckiness. It's a good thing he's not in therapy or I'm sure someone would read a lot into such a painting. :) I was asking him about it and he told me that his yucky food hands got all over his art. The yucky food was lettuce. I have NO CLUE what he's talking about at all or where any of it is coming from. I think I prefered his Dash and Bob drawing from last week instead.
This afternoon I think we'll hit the library and maybe Wal-Mart. And Carson isn't coming tomorrow so we'll have to come up with something fun to do then too!
Till next time...

D looks adorable in his new shirt! He does look more grown up all of a sudden!
Poor Eastie with his yucky art. Doesn't sound like that was a pleasant art-making experience at all...with the yucky lettuce and all. Sometimes don't you just wonder, "What the heck?".
The guitar shirt is very cute. Gymbo stuff seems to run huge (at least for boys)...D will be able to wear it next year, for sure.
