Hmmmm...I thought that borrowed shirt was really cute when I put it on this morning but now I feel like it's making everything look big...not just my protruding belly.
Well, anyhoo, today I call myself "4 months pregnant"...even though I'm 18 weeks and most people would've said they were 4 months pregnant 2 weeks ago. But as my due date is 5 months from today I say (correctly! Ha ha ha!) that I'm 4 months. Except that I never go by months for that very reason of everyone being all on the wrong page.
So that's me this morning at 4 months. 18 weeks 1 day. I still haven't gained a single pound yet but you wouldn't know it from looking at me, would you!?!? And what else? When I listen with the doppler I totally picture a boy in there. Usually I don't have a feeling one way or the other, or I try to ignore those vibes since I was so very wrong with Easton. :) My only real craving has been for beer which I find odd. I still feel sick quite a lot but with the meds still I do a lot better. That's about it.
In other news, Dalton's peep seems to be hurting him less at the moment. Although he cried out in his sleep a few times last night and woke up at 6:30 this morning curled into the fetal position, both hands on crotch, crying, "Me penus!!! Waaaaaaaaaaah!" Soooooo sad. He's just now going on 24 hours of antibiotics and I think I'll give it to 48 to see about a urology follow up or anything. I'm also giving him probiotics in his yogurt but you can still tell the antibiotics are affecting his little digestive tract. :(
And, I'm very pleased to report that Easton did fantastic for school this morning! It truly couldn't have gone any better. He got up happily, got dressed happily, got in the car happily, walked in easily and independently, gave me a nice hug good-bye, greeted Mrs. M with a big smile, a laugh, and her handshake. It was fab. I was so pleased. So was Mrs. M.
Dalton and I then came home for some breakfast, finishing up his free Redbox, and then out for some shopping. We went to Old Navy, Babies R Us, then back to Old Navy before going to pick up The E at school. I still need to try all this stuff on Easton to see how the 3T/4T shorts might work for my super skinny, butt-less child. But if things fit then he's got some cuuuuuuuuute stuff for this summer. Hope it's still in style when it's Dalton's turn to wear it...maybe Wabie too, who knows?
I also need to go through the stuff from last summer to see what might work again for either boy. I'm running out of clothes budget if I keep shopping at this rate. And unfortunately, the summer maternity shorts and bathing suit I was going to borrow from a friend got lost in the mail and all the pieces are strewn over some "mail recovery warehouse" in Atlanta and who knows if we'll ever see any of it. Bummer, eh? So I've been stalking various second hand stores for decent shorts but they must get snatched up right away because I haven't found anything. I so don't want to put a lot of money into a maternity wardrobe for just a few months, ya know? Well, maybe you don't know...a lot of you readers are shoppers! :)
Anyway, I have a few pictures from lunch today...just so you're not missing these cuties too much:
And there ya have it. Our Tuesday. :)

Every time I check your counter, I am surprised at how fast your pregnancy is going by (I know it probably doesn't seem like that to you!). With my Feb. '05er, my "morning sickness" lasted right up until about week 21-22 or so....I feel your pain! Hopefully you'll get permanent relief soon.
I hope poor Dalton feels better soon.
My little guy is pretty skinny, too, although not quite as much as your boys. Have you been able to find many adjustable waist shorts? Even those can be kind of big though. Oh, and have you tried eBay for your shorts? Good luck!
Lisa
Looks like lunch was full of laughs today....cute! :)
Cute belly pic! I still need to take one. LOL
and I LOVE it that you've been craving beer! That totally cracks me up! I still think Wabie is a girl. ;)
I hear ya on the shorts too...Isaiah has finally out grew all of his shorts(he's been able to wear the same shorts for 3 summers now!) but this year needs new ones...as long as we can find adjustable waist we're good! and E. has inherited all of Isaiah's shorts so he's pretty much set..he just needs tee-shirts. :)
Hope D's peep starts to feel better very soon! and such CUTE pics of your sweet boys! :)
Man, I was hoping poor D was doing MUCH better by now.
So the boys aren't wearing the same size yet? I figured they would be getting close.
You look great! I know you are not finding out but when is your u/s? It's hard to buy mat. clothes when you know this is it. I limited myself big time but I was so getting tired of my clothes at the end.
I hope Dalton's problem clears up soon. Poor guy!
You look GREAT! :)
