Another Sticker!

This morning with school went even better, peeps! Easton was excited and in a great mood all morning.

When we got close to the school he saw it out the window and shouted, "There it is!" and we walked in without him dragging his feet or anything. He hung up his backpack waved and said, "Bye!" and walked right on in! Realizing what was happening I quickly planted a kiss on his cheek before he was gone.

He did it!

Good thing too as Mrs. M had her hands full with a crying kid already in her arms and one wandering around behind her sniffling. Add to that a mom in the hall holding her crying daughter and I'm just glad God has a plan that Easton wasn't joining in the crying this morning as that probably would have been a little too much for Mrs. M to handle.

I peeked around the corner and Mrs. L (the assistant) gave me a thumbs up as I tried to find Easton in the room. Finally I found him pulling out a chair to sit down at a table to do some work.

You should've seen the spring in my step as Dalton and I walked outside! :)

On the way out Connor's mom stopped me. We got the student directories this week so yesterday I had called up another family from E's class to see if we could try to develop another friendship between E and their son. This morning she stopped me to chat and we made plans for next week. Hooray!

Dalton and I then headed to ABC for a quick bite to eat and he played with his "show and tell" for AussieROO coming up later...a "'nake!"

Then he and I headed to our fab AussieROO class. He really likes it there. And even though it's only the second week he's already shown some improvement in going along with the routines they have.

After class we drove over to the library for Circle Time.

I remember when I used to take E at this age. And we used to go all the time even once Dalton was born. But for one reason or another--partly when D used to take a morning nap--we stopped going. Dalton got to where he couldn't sleep well outside the house and it was only fair to stick close to home for his naps. We just never got back in the habit of going. But today Dalton and I went and he did great. There was 36 kids there!!! I remember in the past we'd gone and it was just us and another family. Whoa. But Dalton sat still and listened to the stories. Pretty fantastic for an 18 month old, I'd say. Especially one who doesn't love to read much at home yet. It could certainly just be beginner's luck.

After the stories were over and we handed back our shaker egg from the song we had to dash over to the school to pick up Eastie. Today he picked a Spiderman dry erase board I'd gotten in the Target Dollar Spot as his mini prize and we headed over for ice cream:

Now we're home doing naps and quiet time before Max comes over to play this afternoon. Haven't seen them in quite a while. They've been BUSY.

But that's the scoop. Thanks for tuning in!

I was just checking in to see how E did before heading out! Sounds like he is a pro at the preschool gig!
I am so glad you are getting to enjoy your time with D stress free!

I meant to email you about that dry erase board back when we got ours. I obviously forgot. :)

Yay for another great day. He is doing so well.

So fun that you and Dalton are getting to do fun things, just the 2 of you.
