It's the Weekend!

Woo! It's Friday! Gotta love the weekends!

I'm trying to think what there is to update...I can't remember what we did yesterday afternoon other than I made a really delish dinner and we did some Play-Doh. Hmmm. I guess that's it.

Oh yeah...Max came over. That's right. We played inside for a bit and then outside for a bit. Easton threw an unusual fit over wearing shoes and trying to climb the tree in the backyard. He was ridiculous. And out of character. I don't think Max and Zannah had quite seen him like that before. Heck, I'd hardly seen him like that before. But inside he was better, thank goodness. Well, better around them. He was a bit difficult after they left. Kinda wild and crazy and did a few things to test me (and J when he got home). Test all you want, boy, the rules are the same.

Anyhoo, today has been better. We had a slow morning and then the boys helped me get a load of towels going:

After awhile we got ready for gymnastics. Dalton did better watching this week:

And Easton wore the short sleeved version of his "costume" instead of the tank top he's worn the other two times:

The kids worked on "bridges" in class and Easton's been rocking those at home for awhile so he had that one down. They also did backward somersaults on an incline--decline??--and I was surprised that he could do those pretty well too, even if it was downhill. He really likes his class and I guess it's a good introduction to gymnasticky things, without doing a whole heck of a lot of what I think of as gymnastics. Oh well.

We went to the library after that for our weekly trip as yesterday was just story time for me and The D.

Then we came home for lunch. Neither boy was very hungry. They played instead:

Till the chair tipped over (I caught it!)

Time for quiet time at that point! :)

And that's where we all are now. Bye!

I don't think any of us ever had any doubt that Easton would rock that gymnastics class!

Is it just me or does he looks REALLY tall standing next to the washer?

The boys may have missed their lunch, but they sure had fun doing so. Cuties!

That is awesome how well E is doing in gymnastics. Natural talent. And I love seeing them play together. So cute.
